Kartarpur Sahib Master Plan by Pakistani GOVT and our visit

After India and Pakistan sign deal on Sikh temple project I went Kartarpur corridor to see how is the situation after one year. India and Pakistan have signed a deal that will allow Sikhs from all over the world as well as from India to visit one of Sikhism's holiest shrines in Punjab Pakistan without a visa.

The Kartarpur corridor is a new entry point giving access to the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur in Punjab; that is very good news so far.

The expansion includes a new courtyard, museum, library, dormitories, locker rooms, an immigration centre and an embankment to protect the temple in case of floods; this is an outstanding step of PTI Government for Sikh community and it is represent soft image of Pakistan.

Pakistani GOVT officials have said that the corridor will be able to accommodate up to 5,000 pilgrims per day, and more than 8,000 will be able to visit the shrine every day. Prime minister Imran Khan was said this will become a major religious hub for the Sikh community and will boost the local economy. Imran Khan also mention it will also result in earning foreign exchange for the country besides creating jobs in different sectors, including travel and hospitality.

While our visit to Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib kartarpur, we notice some employees from KP and from other part of the country. But it was great to see that people from India were coming to Pakistan without any fear.

God willing, the area of Jammu and Kashmir should be opened and people could come there as well, thus benefiting both the countries. Don't forget to watch our video on YouTube and share it with your friends. << Click
